More memories...

This last week I organized the computer room, ( if you want to see more about that go here.)
I found this book and realized why I had saved it. I hope you can see the page that I found.  If you look in the right hand column, you will see Isaac Jones, and if you look across the page you will see someone else who is famous.  If I remember right this person was at the same Nike football camp that Isaac went to, (but he didn't go on to play football, he went on to play basketball.)  Did you find it? Click on the picture and it will go bigger.
just a clue, LeBron James!
Kind of exciting to be in the same book, don't you think!
After saving it in Isaac's picture file, I couldn't resist posting some of these pictures.

I think we have one of these same poses, only it is Mac. Isn't it so funny that when you sit still long enough you just fall asleep, even if you are hungry.

He loved his big sister.

Just a cute little kid.
I love this cowboy in his diaper.
He grew up way too fast, I remember he was always a big kid and didn't get to do some of the things little kids did because everyone expected him to be big, just a little boy in a big body. ( Sorry Isaac that those people didn't realize you were just a little kid when you went Trick or Treating and they said," Aren't you a little old to be Trick or Treating!"
I love my big little boy.  Who grew up to marry this little girl.

Didn't realize how much Lincoln looks like his Momma!
Have a great week!

Kind of reminiscing...

My computer has a screen saver where it rolls through pictures that are in my file and every once in awhile it will scroll through some pictures like these.  (sorry about the red eyes) and it makes me reminisce about the year that I had 3 graduates.

about how, great a Dad I have and how my kids and I love him so much!

About a heritage that always makes me proud, (I know you are not supposed to be proud but I am! especially when it comes to family.  This is a a  5 generation photo with Rainee, Me, my mom, Grandma Marriott, and great grandma Smirl.

About the cute little kids that I have and the cute little grand kids they gave me, and are giving to me!
This is Mac.

again, about the great parents that I have and how supportive they have been in everything I do, and that includes everything that my kids have done as well.

and of course how great my family is, (love the cheeses!) We are not yet complete because if you notice I am pregnant with Caitlin.

about all of the fishing trips that we have been on with this fun bunch of boys!

Daughters, that I love!  There is something special about daughters, they become your best friends!

about all of the games that I have watched in my lifetime and how I wouldn't have it any other way.
not just the boys but the girls as well.
loved watching this one! and she became one of my best friends!
(remember these Valley tournaments?)

remember us all dressed in white, how fun was that!

loved watching this one run! Oh, the track meets I have seen, and how fun it was to see their successes.
Just thinking about all of you today and how grateful I am  that I have been a part of your lives!

February is over!

The month passed quickly and it is March!  We had a couple of birthdays in March, the first was Carson and he turned eleven!  (Does he ever make me feel old.)  He is going to pass up his Grandma in height, it will be interesting to see how soon that will be. Carson is the peacemaker in his home and he loves basketball, that is what he wanted most for his birthday, (a basketball). He also wanted a suit but because he is growing so fast I think he will probably get it next year when he is 12.

It is nice to have Rainee so close to Ryan's work because sometimes when we just don't feel like going home we will spend the night.  This is usually the nightly ritual, snuggling with Grandpa.

We had to get the whole bunch in this picture, though some look like they are a little disinterested.

This usually happens when she finally holds still.

We also celebrated Doug's birthday and if Carson makes me feel old, Doug makes me feel even older!

He got this as a surprise, a seventy incher!  I still can't believe that Rainee got it into the house all by herself without Doug knowing.

Yes, Doug has many candles on his cake and many helpers to blow them out.

Get ready, get set, go!

McKinly, would probably take all night to blow all of these out.

Her on the table, half dressed so reminds me of when my kids did the same.

Happy Birthday Carson and Doug!
It was great!
