Thanksgiving

I had to put this picture in because Mr. Jones thought it was cool that I took this picture.  Sorry it is blurry but I don't have  a very good zoom on my camera. I have to tell you a story about this deer though, it isn't the first time we have seen him.  Last week when I came home from church I saw this old guy with a "Go Pro" strapped to his head sneaking around the corner of the house.  For a minute I wasn't sure who it was because the Bishop never beats me home from church!
Well he was sneaking up on this big buck and he had his bow and arrow and he had a blunt arrow to try and see if he could hit this deer.  I honked the horn at him, not knowing what he was doing but thinking he looked pretty funny with his suit and tie and a "Go Pro" strapped to his head.  Well, needless to say my honking scared the deer and it went bounding off.  You couldn't see much in the movie he took, but he watched it over and over wishing he would have taken a still photo.  So when this deer came back I was just trying to make Mr. Jones happy.

we had a great thanksgiving and the food and company was great!

We had a couple of little tables set up for the little people, but Evan didn't think it was too cool to be included on the little table.

McKenly getting ready for the prayer and Bryce looking like he is in pain waiting.

I had to have one extra person on another table and I was worried about that person feeling left out, but Trevor thought he was King, having his own table.

Bryce finally got too eat!

Part of the table, the other side of the table was still getting food for those on the "little table".

MMM, it was so good!

Layne and Carson were included in the"big table"

After a day of shopping with Rainee, Mary and Caitlin we went to the light parade in Preston.

It was a little cold but it was fun to see the lights and fireworks.

Here they come!

It's hard to get photo's of fireworks, I always misjudge when to push the button.
Yes, we were in front of the Round's building.

McKenly had the parade queen wave down and was waving to everyone.

Breakfast the next morning was of course, fruit loops.

Before the Cannon's left McKenly gave us a fashion show.  We were talking about who teaches girls to pose? I'm not sure but most girl's are born with it and this one definitely had the poses down.

and the looks!
It was a great Thanksgiving weekend and we have lots of stories to tell about our black Friday adventures but because they include certain some one's gifts, I might have to tell them later after the gifts have been received .  But it was great fun and we were all tired when it was all over!

October, November birthdays

I am having trouble with adding my text so hopefully I can show you what these pictures are all about.

Traegan is beginning to do the swim crawl, where he moves his arms and legs really fast but does not really go any where.

Doesn't he have just the cutest little face!

I'm going to swim away!

Then on Sunday we celebrated the OCT, and NOV birthdays so we all got together at Isaac's and Mary's. Jessica's birthday was October 31st and since it was so close to Trevor's birthday, we celebrated them both together.  Traegan looks a little surprised in this photo.

We all fight over him when we get together, because he is so fun to hold.

Here's Trevor's birthday cake, he is 2!

He was trying to figure out how to blow that last candle out.

lick the frosting off the candles, isn't that a favorite of every kid?

decide which piece is the best.

Traegan still looks a little surprised, but it is a good photo of Jocelyn and Caitlin!

Then, on to opening the presents.

one torn piece of paper at a time.

oooh, a sword,  oooh, 2 swords!

now they can have their sword fights.

like this!

Traegan is getting his balance, ( this always makes Mom's cringe.)

what a cute little man.

higher Dad!

This is the cutest fire station, Mary worked on putting it together the rest of the night, everyone had left before we saw the cute results.

Trevor loves it!

so does Lincoln, I think that is the favorite thing about birthdays with siblings, everyone gets to enjoy it!

Cute little firemen in their Little fire truck.

Happy Birthday to all of our October and November birthdays! We missed having Mel there. so Happy Birthday to Melanie as well!
