I still have a lot of pictures that I have not posted of this summer and I think they deserve to be here even though these events have past. It was the best when we were all here at one time. We get to get re acquainted with those that aren't here all of the time, and it seems when the little ones start to warm up to everyone, it is when they leave.
Of course these pictures are always a favorite and because we took so many of this shot I figured this one deserved another shot on the blog. Don't you love all of these comical faces!
This one was so sweet and little Sofia is so fun to have around.
She really started warming up to Uncle Nate.
I think we went through several cases of Creamies while everyone was here.
Then who can forget the fun on the 4th of July.

This isn't really the Jones reunion but on Friday morning I came from girl's camp and then went straight to the Marriott reunion which was also being held the same 2 days as the Jones reunion. I spent the morning with some of the Marriott clan and then drove back down to the Jones clan. The flowers were so beautiful on the top of Monte Cristo that I had to take some pictures with just the yellow showing through.

We then went to Ben Lomond Stake camp and had a wiener roast and got ready to start the next day of Survivor challenges.
It is not a Jones reunion without Gordy and Heidi.
This looks like there is no one eating breakfast but it is just because Mr. Jones is always the last and everyone else has just moved outside. There were actually 88 people that came so it was quite a tribe.

We were split up into tribes for the Survivor challenges and Kace, Nate, Isaac, and I were actually in the same tribe. Here we are making our flag. We called ourselves the Guardians.
Rachel was in the blue tribe and as you can see she loves blue. (So Rachel did you get sunburned and have a hand print on your face?)

Mr. Jones was in the red tribe, I can't remember what they were called, something to do with tri or tribal triangles.
Here we are ready to start the challenges. I kind of forgot to take pictures of all of the challenges. But there was the Coordination challenge where you had to have a tennis ball in a pair of pantyhose and put the panty hose on your head an knock down a string of bottles in less than 20 seconds. I was a winner in this challenge. The next challenge was accuracy and you got 4 Frisbees to throw through a course of hula hoops. This one was hard! The next one was balance and you had to hold a Popsicle stick in your mouth and stack 5 dice in less than a minute. I won this challenge! The next challenge was an eating disgusting things and you had to spin to see what delicacy you got, There were fungi, worms, buffalo chips, swamp water, wild boar, and fish. I got the wild boar and I think it was pickled pig skin but I gagged it down. Isaac got swamp water and it was a jar of green bean baby food. Kace got fungi and it was mushrooms. Nate got buffalo chips and it was barbecued chips, (that wasn't fair!) The next challenge was endurance and you had to stick your bare feet in ice water and pick up marbles with your toes and put them into another bucket. Isaac won this challenge by picking up 121 marbles in less than a minute!
Then we had to try and find the little idol guy,(what was the name of this?) Here is Nate and Kace trying to find it in the jungle.(By the way, Nate was the winner of this challenge and we kept it a secret until the closing ceremonies, we didn't want another tribe stealing it from us!)

Then Kace and I went on quite the hike , look how high we got to look for this little object.

Then Tydon went back to get a snake painted on his arm.
And Kace went back to get painted as a wizard!

After the closing ceremonies, and yes Rachel's tribe won! but they did have 12 in their tribe and I think we only had 8 that participated in our tribe. The winner was the tribe with the most winner beads. At the first of the challenges we all got a necklace and strung the beads on them as we won. The closing excitement was the rocket shoot, which actually was a rocket the shot candy out on the grass. It was pretty cool because this device shot candy pretty high in the air and their was a scramble to get the goods!

It was a great reunion and Lorna's family did a great job in hosting it. We are planning on having the next one in 2013 and will be celebrating Harold T. Jones' 100th birthday! So, all of you that missed it plan on the year 2013!
