Super Cute and almost super tiny feet

Okay, I know you want to get to the pictures, but I just have to say that yes he is a pretty cute baby and as far as I could see he was a pretty good baby as well. He made cute little cooing sounds and I didn't really get to hear him cry but Isaac had made a video which was taken right after he was born and he had a cute little soft cry. His hands are big and his feet match his hands, Mary thinks he has Isaac's nose and ears, Isaac thinks he has Mary's lips, so it was a great combination and he is SUPER CUTE!

The feet to fit the shoes.
His hands,he has really long fingers.

I love yawning pictures.

Cute little eyes.

Cute little lips.

Cute little Mom.

Cute little face.

Cute Parents.

He is just cute.

Cute family.

Okay, happy Grandma.

Isaac and Mary are thinking that his name will be Lincoln.

He is pretty strong and already holding up his little head.

Isaac at work came up to visit his new little boy.
We are so happy he is here and Mary and baby will be going home today. Way to go Mary and Isaac, we are glad to have another cute little boy to add to all of the other cute little boys!

I have a baby shoe Fettish!

I have always loved shoes and I really love little tiny shoes. Mel got me started on the hat and then I saw these cute little crocheted baby shoes and I had to get the pattern. I think I'm obsessed. Now I have all of these ideas that I can do with these little shoes and I can't sleep at night because I am thinking of something different that I can do with these, little baby loafers and cute Mary Jane's, aahhh, they are just so cute. They will be even cuter on some teeny tiny feet, I can't wait!

My day got interesting and bloody...

OK, I won't complain anymore because things can go worse. Yesterday is definitely a day I don't want to repeat. After all that Caitlin has been through we had more to come. Early yesterday morning like 2 AM, Caitlin came in our room and said she was bleeding, so I got up to help her. We were told to gargle with ice water for 20 minutes if that happened so she stood at the sink and gargled and spit out the blood and water in the sink. I looked down her throat a few times and could see the blood but wasn't sure where it was coming from. Well to make a long night short ( or long story short) she stood at the sink for 2 hours and in our minds if we would just keep the ice coming it would stop. It slowed down so we thought we were winning and I got in the tub to get ready for work and she then came to the door and said that it was still bleeding. I called the Dr. and we then got in the car to drive to the Emergency Room, she brought her ice and an emesis basin and she kept the ice going. When we got to the ER she started vomiting and there was A LOT of blood. When the Dr. started examining her it was making her gag and so then she was throwing up buckets of blood. It was pretty gross and she started getting shocky and I could see that she was in trouble. The Dr. wanted to take her back to surgery so I called over to the OR, they knew where I was because I had called on the way down telling them that I had to make a stop at the ER first, they had an extra person so my spot was covered and the first case in one room canceled so as soon as we signed the papers she was on her way back to the OR. Dr. Keyser found a vessel in the back of her throat and cauterized it and then put a tube down her stomach to suck out all of the blood. Well when she woke up she felt so much better and she definitely looked a whole lot better and when she felt good enough we took her back to her house because I still had the appointment at the dentist to finish my root canal so I left her sleeping and went to the dentist and after 3 hours I was glad that my interesting day was coming to a close. Caitlin said today that she feels better than she has for a long time, she still has pain in her throat but overall it is a whole lot better. I am feeling better too so I am kind of glad this week is coming to a close.

This last week was interesting...

Actually these first pictures were inspired by Mel. She had me look at these cute hat patterns and I thought, "I have to make one." So I have spent the last day making this hat, it was not that hard once I figured out how to do a FPDC which means front post double crochet but I started over several times before Ryan found it on the Internet and after seeing a video, it was much easier. So thanks Mel, I also am getting a pattern for these cute little baby shoes and I can't wait to try them as well. I have had more time this week because I have been home with Caitlin who had her tonsils out this last week and today I got the rest of my root canal finished. It was pretty bad because it was in the last molar in the top of my mouth and I had to have my mouth opened for 2 hours, so my jaw is pretty sore. ( He had a hard time finding all of the roots).

But I am not complaining because I definitely have not had it as bad as Caitlin has had it. When you get your tonsils out as an adult it is much worse. Then to top it off she had an allergic reaction to the pain medication so she spent the best of one day vomiting her guts out. the allergic reaction made her face swell up like a balloon and then because she was vomiting so hard she burst the blood vessels in her eyes. She looks like she lost the fight because it also made the outside of her eyes go black and then she bruised around her mouth from the surgery. I guess on a positive note though she lost 20 lbs.

This is her uvula the size of her thumb, it was pretty gaggy because it goes down her throat.

Here is her balloon face, at least Dad got her to smile, she hasn't been doing too much of that.

Here is her blood eyes, I really hate throwing up and I can't imagine doing it right after having your tonsils out. Sorry Caitlin, that you have had a bad week, it is supposed to get better by week 2.

Happy New Year

I have to put some more pictures from our fun week together, I just look at these pictures and they make me smile. We were entertained the whole week by just watching the little munchkins every where!!!
Here is Bryce deciding that he wants to get in Millie's kennel.
and here he is with his little mischievous grin.

This was on New year's eve when we had the Great Dalmuti marathon, it was quite the ordeal with 15 players and it totally made you have a different strategy with that many players. It looks like Nate is in the Great Dalmuti spot at this time of the game.

Of course we ate and ate the whole holiday!

Even the little boys ate and ate, I have never done so many dishes in my life, except when all of my kids were at home.

We had a baby shower for Mary at Rachel's and were glad to have so many people come!

The boys were either playing games or cheesing it for Grandma, here I think they are all mesmerized watching TV on Grandma and Grandpa's bed. Except of course, Evan is cheesing it.

We had fun watching everyone play wii and our favorite to watch was everyone boxing each other. Here is Evan trying his hand at boxing.

Nate and Rachel went at it, I can't remember who the champion was but I am sure Rachel will remember.

Jon and Mel were entertaining to watch and I especially liked when Mel was playing when he wasn't and he had to make sure she had plenty of Vaseline on her face and that he kept calling her his"million dollar baby."

Even Livy thought it was pretty fun to watch the boxing. We especially liked watching Rainee and I have some special video's coming so stay tuned.

Here is all of the little kiddo's ready for church, it was quite fun taking them all to church and sitting on the second row and taking up the whhhhole bench. It was a great holiday and I was sad to see it go.

What a big SURPRISE!

Well it has been a while but I have been very busy Playing! I have to confess though that I was feeling a little down on Christmas Eve. It has been very busy at work and I had to work on Christmas Eve and so did Caitlin, I worked in the day and she was working that night. So when Christmas Eve came it really didn't feel much like Christmas and because no one was going to be home Ryan and I decided to go to Mary and Isaac's. We had fun eating and watching Mama Mia and we then drove home to deliver some gifts that had not been delivered yet. So our Christmas eve night was spent with just Ryan and I. Caitlin didn't get home until after midnight and we had not even set out our socks or put our presents in there rightful spot which was usually our tradition. Caitlin could not go to bed because she was still wired from work and I think she probably went to bed after 1:30. Santa did come later and fill our socks but to say the least it was a different Christmas from what I was used to with all of the kids at home.
On the Tuesday before Christmas when I was working I saw Dr. Wood and he asked me if I had any surprises in the last 3 days, I told him no, only a root canal, and of course he said, "That isn't a surprise!" I then started to quiz him about his question and he said, Oh, Jon called me and I was talking to him, and I immediately said, "ARe they coming?" he then started to back track and change the subject and wouldn't give me a straight answer, so it got my curiosity going. I went home and asked Ryan if he knew anything about them coming, He answered, "no", so I didn't really think about it after that. On Christmas though I started wondering about it because I talked with Rainee and she told me that my Christmas gift was combined with Ryan's and that it would also be our birthday and Mother's day and Father's day gift but she wasn't sure if it would be delivered on Christmas or the day after. That started me thinking some more and so I asked Caitlin if she knew if Jon and Mel were coming, she told me no, also. At about 11:00 am Mel called and I asked her about her Christmas and about the weather in Pennsylvania. She told me they were just "vegging" on the couch and that it was sunny and warm. We were having a major snowstorm at the time so I thought, Oh. she is really in PA. We talked for about an hour and she told me all about their Christmas and then she said that she had to go because they were about to watch a movie. After we said our goodbyes, I thought, Well she isn't coming she is in Pennsylvania where it is warm. Soon after getting off of the phone with her Jessica, Mac, Mary and Isaac showed up and then Nate, Rachel, Tydon and Kace came. It was great to have all of them come and it was feeling much more like Christmas. Then I looked over and up the stairs came Jon, Mel, Jaedon and Olivia, I screamed and probably scared Olivia, but it was so surreal and my mind kept telling me that I had just talked with Mel and she was in Pennsylvania???? I said "Where were you when I was talking with you?", and she told me that they were sitting at the bottom of Cub river road waiting for everyone to get here and then they got stuck in the snow and had to wait for someone to come and get them. WOW, what a great surprise!!! Rainee came with her 4 boys the next day so for the last week we have been playing everyday. Doug flew in on New Years Eve so we had everyone here for the New Year, it was simply fantastic and so much fun, Thank You so much to everyone for our great SURPRISE!!!
So we all had fun in the snow, here is Bryce he looks like the kid in the Christmas Story that falls down and can't get up.
Isaac, Bryce and Carson getting ready to sled down the hill.

Jon is pulling Mel on the nattress, we hooked this mattress up to the snowmobile and we were entertained for hours.

Jon and Jaedon on the snowmobile.

This is a great looking couple don't you think?
