Oh My Fish!

Hello fish lovers! As you can see the Joneses cleaned up on the big ones. The first picture is of the Friday catch. The fish Isaac is holding is Nate's big Porky Pig of the Pond fish. I have never seen such a fat fish in my life. It was 25 inches long and had a girth of 18 inches. The other fish are probably 3 to 4 pounders and are 19 to 20 inches long and are really good fish, but look little in comparison. The next picture is of Mac holding Nates monster. This is in the parking lot of the Ashton Inn in Ashton, Idaho. Isaac and I met Nate and Mac on Friday night as Isaac had to work Friday.

The next picture is of Isaac's Monster when we got home Saturday night.

The last two are of Isaac's monster in the boat right after he landed it. These fish were full of fresh water shrimp and are so orange meated and fat. They have so much fat on them.

This fish is 30 inches long and has a girth of 20 inches. It was a female as when we cleaned it there were still a few eggs left inside. It was taken from Henry's Lake on 31 May using a black and gold Panther Martin.

75 Years old!

This last week we celebrated Dad's or Grandpa's birthday. He is 75 years old and he is looking pretty good. We all love grandpa and we went and had a party at Grandma and grandpa's. We had buffalo burgers and had a yummy barbeque and of course had ice ream and cake. We think Dad is our hero and we all love to be around and with him, we are glad that you made it to 75 years and are looking forward to at least 25 more years!

Elder Jones is back!

We have had a busy week but it has been one that we have been looking forward to for awhile. On Friday we all went to Salt Lake to be together with our family and wait for the arrival of Elder Jones. We went to the zoo and were so glad that the rain stopped while we were there. We had so much fun looking at and being the animals and the boys and Olivia had so much fun playing together. It was a beautiful day and we were mostly just glad to be with each other. We spent the day having fun and then went to eat and then to the hotel to wait for Mac to arrive at the airport. He didn't get in until 8:25pm so we watched the Jazz game and had fun getting aquainted with Olivia, Bryce, and Tydon. Some of us were seeing these new babies for the first time. We then all shuttled over to the airport and waited for Mac to arrive. We had a big sign with his picture on it and we knew when his plane arrived because the people coming down the escalator would tell us," He's on the plane we saw him," and another said,"he is at the very back of the plane, He's coming!" So that made us even more excited to see him. I don't think there is a more exciting day in the life of my children than seeing them walk down the steps to greet his family after being gone for 2 years, the glow on their face is priceless. I even have to stop and watch missionaries I don't know when I am in the airport because it is so fun to watch. We were all excited to see him and give him our big hugs. Welcome back Mac, we are glad to have you home!!

What a great day!
