Tydon and Kace came up to visit and they came in the house saying these words. It cracked me up how Tydon would say it. I think this movie made an impression on him don't you think?

Just finished
this book! I could not put it down, I started it yesterday and finished it this morning. Thanks to Jon Robison at work for loaning me his copy. I am getting my own copy though because I can't wait for Ryan to read it and tell me what he thinks. So, if you want something to read and have a a day or so in this dreary weather, get the book and read it you won't be sorry. The next book is called Catching Fire and now I can't wait to read that one. The third one comes out in August. Happy Reading!

It must be cold outside...
because it just makes you want to create something. Rainee has had that creative bug for awhile,(since she found out she was having a girl!) She showed me all of the cute things she had made, she has been busy!
She found a remnant at the fabric store and made this cute diaper bag , (she got the pattern online.) It really was cute and she had made all kinds of pockets on the inside and had lined it in vinyl for all of the messy things that go into a diaper bag.
When I opened McKenly's closet I saw more clothes than any little girl would be able to wear. But I think that is the funnest part of having a girl, (dressing her in all of the darling outfits they have for girls.
Rainee also made the crib blanket, bumper pads, sheets, and curtains to go in McKenly's pink room.)
So I had to make some pink and brown shoes and headband to go in her pink and brown room.
Before I left Rainee had called me about this cute mobile that was at Babies R Us. It didn't look like it would be too hard to make so before I left I cut out all of the butterflies and flowers with my Cricut. I then brought an old wire wreath frame and spray painted it white after I got there. We then spent one afternoon stringing crystal beads and paper flowers and butterflies on fishing line.
I think it turned out very cute, we then got excited about all of the possibilities you could do for mobiles with this idea. It flutters so cute in the room when there is a breeze.
I then tried these felted flowers and had to make more. I made the first one in Reno and then came home and tried different kinds. I attached a pin on the back and also a clip so you could attach it to a headband, a hat, a bag, or a scarf. I actually wore one on Saturday to our Stake Relief Society program and got the compliment that there are "pretty classy ladies in Idaho."
While I was a t Rainee's I had time to fill quite a few orders that I had for headbands and hats. These are some of my favorites. I had a lady bring in a cute black and white polka dot jacket, lined with hot pink, that she had bought for her little girl and she wanted me to make something to match the jacket. I think this one turned out pretty cute!

This week...
we had a full week and it went by fast!
We went downtown and bought some tickets for the Cannon boys valentine's gift. The tickets had to be purchased at the Silver Legacy so we went into the Casino with the stroller and the 3 little ones, then we went back out on the street and Evan decided he needed a ride too, so he got into the back of the stroller basket and enjoyed the ride. We won't tell you what the tickets are because I don't want to spoil the surprise.
Our week wouldn't be complete without a trip to Chuckee Cheese. I did not have the pizza,( I didn't want to get sick again.) The boys had a lot of fun with the games and didn't want to leave.
We took Bryce, Evan, and McKenly to the Children's museum in Carson City. The 2 little boys loved it. Evan said, as we were driving into Carson City that this is where his brother Carson lives. Silly boy, he lives with you, but it would be fun to have a city named after you.
I couldn't resist some more pictures of McKenly, I need to get some pictures of all of her cute little clothes but I don't think I have enough memory on my camera. This girl has more clothes than you can imagine!
We went to Carson's school to see him get 2 awards. He got the Principal's award and then also one for getting straight A's and O's. Way to go Carson for being such a great student!

Photo Shoot
We decided we should try a photo shoot of sweet little McKenly. For anyone who has worked with babies you know how unpredictable that can be. She is hungry all of the time so when her eyes are open she usually wants food and she definitely will not hold still to have her picture taken. So to get a picture of her not rooting for food is sometimes a task. Also she doesn't like to be uncovered, it is February and she just recently came from a very warm spot so I don't blame her on that one. I haven't been able to get warm here either.

Some of these with her eyes open are kind of sleepy looking because she was getting ready to go to sleep. I think this one was just after Rainee had fed her and her eyes are getting sleepy....

Nothing but trouble
I have another funny story to tell about the things little kids say. We went to the Dr. for McKenly's 4 day check up. Evan and Bryce of course came with us. In the waiting room of the pediatrician's office there is a carpet playground where they can crawl through tunnels and holes and pretend to there hearts content. We had the first appointment of the afternoon so we were the only people in the waiting room. When Rainee went to the back to a room for McKenly to get checked, I stayed in the waiting room with Evan and Bryce. They played for a few minutes and then a woman with two little girls came into the room. Both Evan and Bryce came over to my side and then Evan said,"We don't like girls." and then Bryce said, "They're scary." and then Bryce continued and mimicked Evan and said, "We don't like girls." Then Evan chimed in, "They're nothing but trouble."
I think these two together are hilarious and it just makes me laugh the things these little minds come up with.
