Guess what I did today??

I got to hold my 14th grandchild!! ( love my blue gum!)

Isn't he the sweetest little thing you ever did see!

He weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and he was 19.5 inches long.

He was a little cold so the best remedy for that is skin to skin, and yes he did warm up.

so cute.

Jessica you did a great job and Mac you did great as well, especially finishing that last final 2 hours afte he was born.

Already love this little guy.

Grandma, what are you doing?

Can see Mac's lips, Jessica's nose, a very cute combination.

Happy Birthday to the 2 birthday kids, yes, they were both born on May 1st!

Love this one and love that Jessica finally took a nap.

What an exciting day, love having another grand baby!!

January birthdays!

WE celebrated January birthdays, we have 3!!  Tydon's is on the 15th!! Happy 5th birthday Tydon!
Lincoln's is on the 21st, he will be 3! Happy Birthday Lincoln! McKenly's is on the 27th and she will be 2!

Caitlin was the maker of these fine cakes.  This is her first try with fondant cakes and I think she did fantastic!  Tydon wanted a spider man cake so here is her creation for his spider man cake! (Don't you love the sippy cup for the accents!)

Here is McKenly's princess cake. Pretty much love everything about this cake.  Great Job Caitlin!

Here is his black spider man above the tall buildings!
We didn't have a cake for Lincoln because they want to celebrate his birthday on his birthday.
McKenly opening her gift, love those red eyes!

Tydon trying to figure out what is in his.

Is it something spider man?

McKenly is all girl and loves to get clothes!
Sporting her new coat.

Yep, it was something spider
man and now he is loose on the unsuspecting brother!

See, I told you she loves clothes.
Watch out there might be a spider man in your neighbor hood!

and just ending with a picture of Trevor, "What's the big deal Grandma!"
I love his cute little face!
So, Happy Birthday to all of you!

Birthday and Sweets!

We celebrated Sweets birthday,(that was for your Mel) I have always loved how Mel and Jon use the term Sweets for each other.  I couldn't resist using it even though I don't call my Sweets,
Sweets.  But it was a day of Sweets!  I started out by making chocolate chip cookies because I needed to take some to the Night of the Nativity.  I didn't get any pictures of it though but it was spectacular as always. I always love seeing the various nativities and singing with the youth of our stake.  It really starts the Christmas season.  You may be wondering why we celebrated Ryan's birthday yesterday, but it was because next Saturday which really is his birthday is full of holiday and church parties and I thought it would be better to have it on this Saturday.  We thought about Sunday, but "Oh, I forget, what month is it?" Sundays in December you don't get to see the Bishop for very long because he is at the church all day!
Rainee made these cute cup cakes.

The snowmen and the little pies were a big hit.

Because Ryan loves sweets she brought some of every kind!  I think this one was my favorite.

This was the gingerbread cake, and oh I forgot we had pumpkin bars, and Rachel brought oatmeal Raisin ice cream !

Mm mm, yummy cupcakes1

McKenly enjoyed the pizza.

and these two loved each other, (no, Trevor didn't get his black eye from McKenly.)

Oh, I worked on my Christmas card for this year. What do you think? I decided not to sugar coat how our usual photo shoots work out! But the words do portray how I feel when I am around this cute bunch!
Yes, it is pure JOY!
and they are all my Sweets!!!

The Champions!!

Yesterday I went to watch Kace play in his last football games of the season.
I say games because he played three!  They consisted of two, ten minute half's.
So they went pretty quick, for a football game.

This was after the first game that was played at 8:30 in the morning.

They won the first game against Layton so they then played again at noon against Roy and they won that one too!!

The third game was played about 20 minutes after the second game and they played Box Elder.
Now this was the same team that they had played in their regular season and as Kace put it, " his team got their butts kicked."  I watched that game last week and Kace's team did not play very well so, I thought maybe they would have a chance this week to show some redemption.

The 2 teams were actually pretty evenly matched and the game ended 0 to 0.  Kace's team had the ball on offense most of the game but were unable to score.  They went into overtime and each team would get it on the 50 yard line and have 4 downs to score.  I thought, "Why didn't they start them on the 10 yard line because the way the game had gone neither team had been able to score.  But they started on the 50 yard line and Kace's team got the ball first. The first play of the game Kace got the ball and ran it 50 yards for a touch down! They then held Box Elder the 4 downs and actually recovered a fumble to finish the game.
So, they were the champions!
Too, bad I didn't get  a picture of the touch down.

Here they are!

All smiles today!

I'm not sure if Kace has a smile or a grimace, because he has to get his picture taken again!
It was fun! Way to go Kace!!!

Fun in Nebraska

It was very fun to be here on Livy's 4th birthday, she was so excited she could hardly stand it! She had to keep whispering to me that it was her birthday!

Of course she got everything that she wanted!

A barbie to style hair for.

Sofia was excited as well. It's fun for every one when someone has a birthday.

I made this sweater and skirt for Livy and I am glad that she liked it!

She even got a Polly Pocket that was so fun to get wet.

Sofia loves "cheesin" it for the camera.

the favorite afternoon activity is to go out in the front yard and play in the street. I know, I tried to keep them safe but the driveway slopes and they all end up in the street.

Luckily it isn't a busy street. Jaedon has learned to ride his 2 wheel bike.

He is getting to be quite the pro, now if he could learn to stop and turn maybe he wouldn't have so many scrapes on his elbows and knees.

Sofia loves to do whatever and plays on the scooter, bike, but I think her favorite is just pushing the big stroller around.

Livy had her special birthday cake complete with Rapunzel, Flynn, and even Pascal.

Saturday morning we went and had family pictures, this is the black and white version, you will have to see all of the cute photo's from Mel.  These were just some of the in between shots and I did them all in black and white and accented the yellow.

Baby Jack was pretty much this pose the whole time.

Livy loves her new baby brother.

Sofia was most entertained by the
"Daddy Long legs" on the wall of the barn.

This was the most excited that she got.

You're so cute Livy!

Yep. baby Jack's favorite pose.

Oh, the dog did get Sofia excited too.

Here Jaedon smell this!

Jaedon's Cheese!

In the afternoon we celebrated Livy's "Tangled" party!

Livy still has her crown on, she loved her party!
I love this little girl, sure going to miss everyone!
